Travel Grant
The IEEE
INFOCOM 2007 executive committee is pleased to announce the availability of
Student Travel Grants, sponsored by the National Science Foundation.
Applications are invited from qualified graduate students studying in accredited
An
application for a student travel award will consist of:
1.A letter from the student, including
paper title if the paper has been accepted for INFOCOM 2007.
2.The student's vita.
3.A supporting letter from the student's
graduate advisor.
The
letter from the student should include:
1.A brief summary of research interests
and accomplishments to date
2.A description of areas reflected in
the INFOCOM 2007 program that would impact the student's research
3.A statement about why the conference
attendance is important to the student.
The
advisor's recommendation letter for the student should include:
1.Confirmation that the student is a
bona fide Ph.D. or M.S. candidate in a good academic standing.
2.The suitability of the INFOCOM 2007
program material to the student's research area.
3.Ways this particular student would
benefit from attendance at the conference.
4.The strengths and potential
contributions of the student.
Applicants
should upload their applications through EDAS (after login to EDAS, click on
the "Travel Grants" tab). Applicants should send their application
materials as a single PDF file following the instructions in the Travel Grants
section on INFOCOM 2007 site.

Student Travel Grants, sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society.
Applications are invited from qualified full-time engineering graduate
students. About 8 awards are expected.
To
qualify you must:
1.Be a valid member of the COMSOC at
the time of application.
2.Live outside the Regions where this
conference will take place (Regions 1~7), that is, residents and students in
3.Be an author who will present an
accepted paper at this Conference.
4.Not have received a similar grant in
the past 12 months.
5.Provide all of the information
below.

C. CONTENT Travel
Grants
The IEEE
Infocom 2007 executive committee is pleased to announce the availability of
Student Travel Grants, sponsored by the EU Project CONTENT (www.ist-content.org). Applications are invited
from qualified members of the research groups participating in the CONTENT
project and whose institution is a CONTENT member (Universidad Carlos III de
Madrid, Universidad Politecnica de Catalunya, Lancaster University, University
Pierre and Marie Curie Paris 6, University of Coimbra, Delft University of
Technology, National Kapodistrian University of Athens, University of Napoli
Federico II, Technical University of Darmstadt, AGH University of Science and
Technology, Universiteit i Oslo). The grant consists of a lump sum of 1095
Euros. The student's institution will receive the grant amount after the
conference is over. A copy of the Infocom 2007 registration receipt should be
sent to: guerrero@it.uc3m.es.
